I'm giving up hope on finding a set of 19" 172s so am thinking about just getting the best ride/handling I can from my 18 inch 124s. I have the stock Bridgestone Runflats with just a few thousand miles on them and am thinking about replacing with non-RFTs. The Goodyear F1 Asymetrics seem to be a great combo of performance and price.
Anyone with first hand experience - would love your feedback.
Thanks!

I run them on both Porsches. Best tire I have ever had.

I have them on my 2008 535xi. Thus far, have about 4500 miles on them and they are very good in the wet .... not as good as my previous GY GSD3. Dry traction is also good. The only thing I feel the tire fell short is the sidewall stiffness, on a fast corner turns, they tend to be little soft, IMO. Overall, I will rate the F1 Asymetrics a 8.5 / 10. The alternative to the F1 Asy is the Dunlop Sport Max TT as it revolves the same design (very close tread pattern to the F1 Asy)

545i with F1 Assymetrics on 166s. Overall excellent tire with two issues:
1. High pitched noise, while not as bad as other tires in this category, is sometimes irritating
2. Flat spotting often can be felt when car was parked overnight or longer.
