Ok,
so sportpack plus standard tires is softer than normal suspension plus runflats?

My Ride: Current - 330 Sport Topaz Blue, Grey Leather, HK HIFI...lost interest!!
Waiting for - 535d Sport, Silver Grey, Foldy Mirrors, 172 19",Logic7,Pro Radio,Through load,Heated Front Seats,High Gloss shadowline,Black Maple,Headlight wash,Sun Protection Glass.
Firm and sporty...even for a big car. Its not as harsh as my 330i sport which can juggle your insides on bad roads. I like the 5er Sport a lot

I don't think the sport suspension is too soft, but it's not surprising to hear that it might feel softer--on straights--than the non-sport suspension.? ARS is an active stabilizer bar system, which activates to tighten up the suspension on twisties to reduce body roll, and allows a comfortable ride on straights, so you have the best of both worlds.? Without ARS, you're trying to balance precise handling vs. ride comfort.? Here's an interesting article:

I too noticed that my sport pack 545 was very "luxury car" smooth yet tenacious in the corners.
I chalked it up to the comfort seats, which I assumed absorb much of the road shock. Has anyone noticed a ride difference between comfort and sport seats?

My Ride: 04 545 jet black/beige, smg sport,premium,sunshades,logic7,cwp,nav,pdc,bluetooth,16.0,light tint all around,Pirelli PZeroNero
i recently drove E90 325 sport with runflats-the ride reminded me of my old 2000 E39 540i sport-very solid, gliding ride, ironing out all imperfections of the road, that it to say it is better than my current E60 545i sport with runflats!(i am changing them soon!).I also read somewhere that when E90 was being enginered they already had runflats in mind-unlike E60 when runflats came after suspension was setup and calibrated
