This issue is with my E70 4.8 X5, the seats are cooling, but the sides and backs of the seats are getting hot which is making driving around South Florida brutal. Of course my dealer has never heard of this problem which means I'm crazy right?

If anyone has had this type of issue please let me what it was, thanks

 

My ventilated seats work fine.

When you say they're getting hot, do you mean like seat heater hot? In other words, do they actually get warmer and warmer when the ventilation is turned on?

Yes, as crazy as it sounds, the air from the seat is cool, but the seat back and R/H side if the seat feels hot, at first I thought it was just heat from the sun, but side of the seat gets really hot. Then a few weeks ago I was away for the weekend, and went in center glove box for a small bottle of hand cleaner, everything in the consolwas so hot, I could bearly touch them, in fact the hand cleaner was to hot to use.

Of course this hasn't happened again and after two days at my dealer, they cannot find anything.. Why me?
