Tested same car with Dunlop...a way better!
530E60NL- they replaced your Dunlops because of a shimmy... Dunlops were better? also, It seems the Dunlops are just as noisy, no?
The ride with the dunlops was less harsh. Sound is almost the same althoug personally I believe the bridgestones make more noise on bad roads then the dunlops did..
Looking back to the issue I had with the shimmy in the tires I would have rather had my tires replaced with another set of dunlops (without shimmy). But since my dealer wanted to solve this issue once and for all he urged me to take bridgestone tires..

Well, here's the thing. My dealer want to replace the Dunlops with Bridgestones.. Fair Enough. I just want to make sure I am getting a good tire.. Don't need better, just don't want to do worse.
I have a heck of a bumpy ride now at 35-39 MPH and sporatically at higher speeds.. they feel that this is a repetative problem with some of the dunlops. In the past, I have been thrilled with the SP 2000e on the E39's I've had...I hate to give these up and go worse. I am doubtful, but maybe the dealer will give me the dunlops for later replacement if they don't require them to ship them back?
Also, there are 2 versions of the Re050 , the re050 and RE050A.
does anyone have either of these, and any more comments. for a tire that is being used in the USA as THE replacement for warranty, I am shocked that no one else has responded! Does that mean that the Dunlops are great? I've read differently.

I don't know the difference between the RE050 and RE050A. What is the difference???
Compared to the shimmy that I had with my dunlops I am more happy with the bridgestones.. I talked with Andreas (Andy545) today and I told him that I would rather have had normal non runflat tires, but I don't have a spare tire so I don't dare to take the risk to have a flat tire without a spare in my boot..
