I'm single....the only things that my 5 series carry are my school bag and my lazy fat ass. Reason I dont get a 3?? I'm 6 '2 and The 3 is a lil too small for me. Furthermore, 3 series seem like taxi here in MA, so many of them around. The 5 series, esp. the 545 feels more special...

Single meaning not married? I have a GF does that count as single?

But yes, I'm in my E60 alone most of the time. A few girls at work requested that I take them for rides, shhh.. don't tell the GF.

While I have always noted that my high-performance 5s are "your basic 155mph family sedan," I am single, except for my Newfie who is seen perched on his official BMW rear seat cover, in the photo to the left.

Married with 6 kids - so it doesn't matter - 3,5,6,7 - they are all to small - My wife gave me permission to get what ever I wanted - was stuck b/n 3 and 5 - Room was not an issue - it was price and looks - so I chose a 5 - the 330xi was options was the same price as a 525xi with few options - but then I ordered the 530

SWF...sounds like an ad for singles
I test drove the 3 series and didn't really care for it...too sporty for me. I like the luxury/sport combo so I bought my 525i.

The E60 IMO looks more sporty than the E90 if you put the right wheels on and people wouldn't think you are driving daddy's car.
