I second that....my Dunlop M3's work amazing in NE snowstorms, I can even move through 9 inches of snow. Gonna put them on in the next week or so. Hey Member545, we have the same car (black/blac, 545, 6-spd, bluetooth).....hehehe
Ok, that's really bizzare. Member545 just said he's plowed through 8" of unplowed snow with his M3's. Weird... You guys are selling me on the M3's now. Screw TireRack...what do they know!

Im in south jrsey 10 miles east of philadelphia and I drove my 550 last year without snow tires. It wasnt great but it wasnt awful either. For the really bad days I use my 93 jeep cherokee. They are predicting a mild winter this year, so you could probablly get another year without the snow tires. I say go for the
M-Aero kit, its incredible
Hahahaha! Mild eh? You sure about that? So far it does seem that way though. Probably get one really bad storm, but we'll use the truck for that I guess. Yeah, I want that Aero Kit.

Tires, Aero Kit, Tires, Aero Kit, Tires, Aero Kit???? Enny, meeny, mity, mo...LOL!

I didn't do that on purpose either, I happen to turn onto an unplowed street during a storm on the way home from work. But like I said, I made it and it was slightly uphill.

I lived in CT (just outside of Westport) when I had my 2 wheel drive e46, which I had snow tires on, and I had no troubles at all. I wouldn't think you would need snow tires on an AWD vehicle in that area.

Problem is AWD doesn't help you stop or turn.
