The previous owner had maybe $1-$2k worth of repairs in the first 67k miles then when I took over I had a coolant leak which would have cost about $400 but was covered under warranty. Knowing my habit with buying and selling cars on a regular basis, I doubt this will see the 100k mile mark but who knows, it is one of the best cars I've every owned.

You're right I do need to drive more - damn work!!!! I agree, my penchant for getting bored and getting something new is usually what keeps me from hitting 100k miles - this is my 36th car and so far I have had it for 3 years now and still enjoy it. We will see how long that lasts Already itching for more HP

I agree, I really love my E60.. and may just give it to my dad when I'm ready for another car. That way I'll technically get to drive both!! lol.

my 04 has 99k and i took it to the dealer a week ago for an oil change and they gave me a list of things that needed to be fixed or replaced adding up to about $1000. some off the top of my head are, a crack in one or some of the belts which all need to be replaced, seepage in the oil cover, streaky window wipers

Almost 106,000 miles, since 2006 . So far only the bonnet lock hatch and a water fluid sensor.

2007 530 with 129,500 miles. Only issue was the recent replacement of a door handle to fix comfort access. Replaced water pump as a precautionary measure (probably a waste of $1,000 but thought I would be on the safe side).

Rides just like it did new. Current thinking is to run it 2 more years, which should be about 200,000 miles.

98,000 miles . Starter was replaced, and a couple of minor things only. Still drives like new.

04 530i - 92,000+ and still going strong. Only maintenance has been regular maintenance so hopefully no problems in the future(crosses fingers). Plan on keeping it until atleast 140-150k.
