I mostly use Mobile 93 since it's only 5 blocks from my house. Shell is just up the road from the Mobile. Car seems to run fine on Mobile, but I do put Shell in time to time.

I fill up where I see all the Lambos, Porsche, and Bentleys fill up. That would be the Shell gas station in Barrington, IL off 14 and Main st.

People always sell that line of BS Tony, they always point to "this study" or "that study" that supposedly prove all gas is the same. Except for one little problem, the real world sneaks in and those stupid studies go out the window. Would any of us actually put Arco or Valero (cheapest 2 in SoCal) gas in our cars? Of course not.
I use Shell or 76 every time I fill up - period. I have found that my car gets worse MPG with Mobil, Chevron, or any other. It just seems to run smoother and get max MPG with only Shell or 76. Regardless of whatever BS study (which were probably paid for by the El Cheapo gas companies) in real world driving you see the truth - all gas is not created equal.

Since it's so damn close to my apartment complex and the fact that their 93 octane is relatively cheap I've been going to Sunoco for a while. After recently meeting up with Sony (Stock545i) for a private sale he showed me how well he was doing in gas consumption with his M5 due to the nitrogen in Shell gas soI decided to go out of my way a little to fill up with Shell. All I gotta say is that YES!! Although I may be playing it out a little more than it really is i do believe that my car performs much better all around. I still have not made my way back to the gas station as my tank seems to be thanking me for the higher quality fuel.

Both my wife's car (E350) and mine have always been filled up with Shell since day 1. Both cars get great fuel economy and run extremely well. I have had the typical 535 problems (HPFPs/fuel injectors) but I don't attribute the problems to Shell fuel.
