Yes, this has got to be a bug introduced by CIP 20.x. I thought I was going crazy too but mine does the same. This weekend, I left the player on CD 3 track 13 and the next day it started playing from CD 3 track 16.

sometimes mine does strange noises when you open the car or switchoff the car and lock .... sometimes...

I've noticed this on occasion. There have been times when I turned off the car and had the SAT on. The next time I start it up it is playing some lame FM station that I would never have selected. It almost happened today too. I turned the car off with SAT playing. Started it back up an hour later, hit accept, held the iDrive controller down for Entertainment and it displayed a Manual FM Station for a second then automatically went back to my Sirius station.
I have seen issues with the CD playing different MP3s at startup then what was playing when I shut the car off previously.
