He got fired because of his own actions, and trashing the car was wilful vandalism. Stupid ass should made to pay all repairs plus at least a fine. Idiot IMO. :thumbsdown:

Yea, im pretty sure they will press charges. He was very very dumb. # 1, their still gonna take that payment of his check, # 2, they may keep the whole check as a part of that 7000 dollars, and #3, they have the authority to get it out of his 401K.

He shitted BIGTIME!

LOL, that reminds me of a story of one of my co-workers here where i work at;

What happend was:

Her name was Anna; she was a typerwriter here for the company. I guess she was looking through the newspaper, and notice an ad in the newspaper that our company was looking for a new typewriter; which was anna's current job ( typewriter ), she then thought to herself that she was going to get replace. She got really upset that she went into the manager's office and destroyed over 10k dollars worth of property ( computers, vaus, ect..) . She got caught by the camera and later was prostecuted in court and had to pay for the damages.

But the funny thing is that: The Manager told Anna that she wasn't ever going to be replaced, but instead he was planning to give her a promotion, thats why he place an ad in the newspaper to find a new typewriter.

I hope this does'nt affect the employee car benefit you all recieve . I have had the unfortunate task of "firing " employees in the past and we never let them out of our site during the process. A HR person stays with them all the way to the door , even to collect personal items from company vehicles. I'll bet there's a new BMW termination policy after this incident ........... and , oh yes............ What an Idiot !

She was a typewriter? That term hasn?t been used for a person for over a century AFAIK.
