1.? "Angel Eyes"? (rings around the low and high beams).
2.? Amber "eyebrows" (the slanted line above the complete headlight).
3.? Amber "LED's" (the 5 small round LED's on the side of the headlight).

What realy stays off are the 5 amber LED's.
I did mention that on a later post (after I confused iceman), but was wrong on the improper use of the angel eyes concept.
Apologies to all.
BTW, having the LED's off means that also the amber eyebrows will be off, as the source of the light is the LED's.

I'll repeat what I've stated previously, that the LEDs are non-op. seakat is correct on the source of light to the "eyebrows" - they are also lit up by LEDs. I'll visit my dealer tomorrow.

Are you sure this is a software issue? I had my software upgraded to 16.2 (I think). This update fixed the audio system on/off problem and added the perspective view. My headlights (angel eyes rings) as well as the amber LEDs and "eyebrows are working fine.

I can confirm that my orange LEDs stopped working when upgraded to 17.
I have just spoken to my service department who are always most helpful.
They looked this up on the system & confirmed that BMW are aware of this issue, but there is no fix yet. The bullitin advised that they should not to attempt to fix the problem, until they are advised of the resolution details from BMW. Sounds like another software upgrade will be needed!. They advised me to call back in a few weeks, by which time they may know more ( as only a cosmetic problem ).

I just got 16.1 and while my leds are still working,I have noticed a slight
drop off in power when downshifting as mentioned elsewhere. It feels as
if the rpm for peak torque has been kicked up to over 3200.
