I think that was AchtungE60. He's down here in FL too, and had the same problem. If you can get to it early enough that appears to be a good solution.

Very interesting, just the left side has the problem so I added a piece of electrical tape. I checked the right side and it looks normal even after bending and twisting the wires a little.

^^that is odd. both of my headlights exhibited identical degradation in the wiring.

on a more positive note, UPS called me and my OE M Technic kit is supposed to show up to the house tomorrow. It sure is nice to spend money on fun things rather than headlights.

No doubt my dual mtech diffuser arrived today. Will have dual exhaust on soon!!!

yes that was me. I used liquid tape. You can find it almot everywhere electrical tape is sold. you can use plastidip too since it's almost the same thing. i tried the electrical tape part but as soon as you touch any wires they start crumbling. I masked it all off so it didnt get into the lens and sprayed away. problem solved. this is a problem with the lights not weather. E85, E46, E39 with projectors never had this issue with the same environmental variables
