Amplifier Location

I have a 2005 530d sport with media pack, I have looked on the LHS of the boot for the amp, but cannot see it.
Any suggestions as to where it should be and would it be obvious?

I'm sure it is in the LHS of the boot/trunk, I think it attatches on the back of the wheel arch.

You will find the Amplifier only if you have the Hi-Fi or the L7 option. Media Pack does not automatically give you that.

I have the subwoofers under the seats, is that indicative of hifi system?

NO, all versions have some speakers under the seat. Look for the photos in my After Market Amp DIY and if you can see a silver box over the LHD wheel arch then you have Hi-Fi otherwise not.

If I do not have the hifi system where would I pick up a REM and the level inputs from? I guess it would have to be a rear speaker via a hi-lo converter.
