Hey guys,

New to the site. Just purchased a 2006 530xi Wagon and have no AUX cable or any way I know of to play music from my phone through the cars speakers. Any fixes you know of? Will it take an AUX installation from the dealer or are there pertinent adapters that I just happen to be unaware of?

There was a video posted on youtube (search e60 aux install), i believe its a cable only. But you need to code the car, to tell the car it now has a AUX cable.

My '07 525i already has a cable jack at the rear of the console. iDrive shows the AUX. When I plug in my iPhone to play music, I can barely hear it and have turn the phone & car volume up to barely just hear it, no quality. Is there a special cable from phone to car?
