Hey guys any news?
I have error e519 too.
Adaptive function is defective and no self levelling.
So far i've removed the headlights, swapped the SMCs to no avail.
I've reached the AHL module behind the fuse box in the glove compartment.
How can we test it?
Thxs

I haven't played with it. The lights are pointed straight. No errors except for the flashing green light. One of these days I'll start taking things apart.

Perished AHL wires
Thought you all might like to see these pictures. All those wires... the insulation crumbled in my fingers and that's exposed fiber optic cable you see (for the angel eyes)!!
You think this is the reason my adaptive headlights did not work (flashing green LED by the HL switch)?
I am thinking that I can apply liquid rubber on the wires to form new insulation, but what about the fiber optics? should I use liquid rubber or electrical tape or just leave them as they are? Light travels though the cable without resistance until it reached the other end; correct?

I used a spiral wrap on mine and it did the job for three years. I eventually bought new headlights and fog lights courtesy of a collision shop that paid for 90% of it during a bumper repair. You have to love the greedy collision shops. Or you can use braided cable sleeves. I would not use tape on the fiber but I did use it on the wires.

dieu did... and replace the AHL module part number 61 35 6 934 837. I just can't stand spending my money without knowing if that if the exact and correct fix. Any other suggestions?

Same issue green light flashing no auto level or light swivel, second set of lights to do this first replaced under warranty. Now it's on me gonna try the all modules where and how much? Also have random dsc fault resets after car goes to sleep only occurs when really cold I suspect SZL module going bad as when I get the error signals don't cancel steering heater circuit fault. Can szl module cause ALL issue?
