I am new to the E60 but have owned 3 3 cars. I have a 2004 545i with Xenon + adaptive and the passenger side headlight is stuck to the right. I had a friend of mine that works at the dealership look at and he said the computer shows the drive motor is out and usually requires a replacement of the headlight unit. He did try installing a controller/ module on it but it just barely moved and is still stuck. Looks like I am going to need to find another headlight.

So far, ebay has yeiled 2 options one has a headlight for mine but all components / modules stipped off the other offered on ebay says it fits 2005-2007. Looking at it I really do not see the difference but the OE number the seller has listed and my OE part number are different and the dealership will be over a grand for it.

What do you guys suggest...find one from a dismantler, new OE, ???

If you have the link, I can check for you to whether or not it will work. Most likely it will, and that the part number is different because they do change over time.

According to RealOEM.com my car was built in Sept. 2003 and that site refers to a different part number and the seller states it fits 05-07.
