That makes sense -- you'd hope that deactivating DSC would also stop AS from intervening. AlexFW, have you tried seeing if the problem still happens when DSC is fully off?

It happens when the DSC/DTC is turned ON .
I don't know without, but nowadays people drive with DSC/DTC on . And it's not a good thing if with DTC on I can't drive aggressively .

Hi,

Yes, I have similar issue when driving aggressively. I have not been able to get a fix, am on latest CIP26 (I think). My dealer is unable to reproduce the problem and has effected several total wheel geometry adjustments. The only noticeable results have been changing the car from a slight over steering to slight understeer when push hard on dry bitumen.

It occurs more when the weather changes from warm to cold.

Be careful that what you are seeing is not the well noted "feature" of active steering of not being able to auto centre the wheel.

So .. No solution ?
What can I say to the dealer ?
Should I try the last progman ?

You did not say that service folks actually tested your car, only that they could or would not try it out on twisties. Have they actually run diagnostics "Measures Plan" or otherwise to look for possible faulty sensors?

Hey Cobradav... next time you go on a ToD run can you pick up some decal stickers for me at the shop? Some similiar to this one... and the donut cut out of it...

OMG!!! it just kicked in.. I miss my MINI sooo much! I want her back now. DOH!!!! Why the hell did I sell it for?
I'll be there in April next year for sure so will try to remember to pick up some stickies. I never stop and shop but I ought to. I do know some of our crew that caught the ToD bug will be going sooner so maybe I can get them to pick some up.

I have to bring the car there to run diagnostic, but imho no error on the machine .
And I'm little worried about the warranty : if a BMW-man has to go out to see the car and find it with M5 brakes and quad exhaust ... Hope they will solve the problem inside the dealership .
