Hey everyone, I'm not sure how many have seen the following post in the FAQ forum talking about the ability to disable the "active" part of the active cruise system on newer cars:

My Ride: 2006 Mystic Blue 530i, beige/poplar wood interior, steptronic transmission, prem, sport, & sound pkgs, comfort seats, pdc, all weather mats, red reflectors, NAV, ACC, HUD, satellite radio, heated rear seats, rear sunshade, cold weather pkg, active steering
Great news if true. I have been very disappointed in the fact that BMW provides so few retrofits.
