You're probably not using your AC much now that it's winter, but what was the solution to your AC problem?

The blower motor is most likely the issue, but I agree that they should both be changes. The key was the fact that you had cold air (not compressor). When the fans work intermittently, it is usualy the blower motor on its way out.
Let us know what the issue was. Its been months since this thread was started.

So did replacing the blower motor & resistor fix it?
The 3 to 5 minute delay in 100-110-deg Arizona Heat is AGONIZING!!! Especially when my 4 yr old is screaming because his car seat is hot plus HOT air blowing from the "AC".
:-( and if cant be fixed, may be the end to an otherwise nice relationship with my 528i.
