It could be a cash cow for the stealers in the US. I'd be willing to pay 1/2 hour labor to have it added to mine.

I think so on the LCI ... but manually via button on the driver side door not via remote key during lock/unlock ...

Yes sir. Since its 2008 LCI, all 2004-2007 Non-M5's does not have this option. The 2006 and up M5's have the folding option too.

Owww yeah ... that's what I meant ... maybe hack in to then merge US M5 w/ US pre-LCI non-M5 VO or somethin'

Its not a matter of knowing how to do it. The US software for "retrofits" does not have the mirror folding available. So the US dealers dont even have the option to retrofit it because all our cars have a US VIN code and only has US software available.

I wish man. Damn BMW limits everything! I'm just waiting for that european module that they have to retrofit folding. Bruce has his hands on it at the moment so he should be able to figure out a nice plug and play method or tap into some wires and it should work.. Gosh I'm so excited, after 2 years, i finally get mirror folding! LOL.
