550i Downshifting Question

I have about 500 miles or so on it. Recently I have been noticing something when you go into reverse also.

Just had my 545 auto gearbox reprogrammed (is this different to a new Progman update?) as my downshits, when coming to a halt were not smooth.
So far it seems improved, but I havn't driven more than 50 miles since it was reprogrammed. Downshifts seem to be smoother tho'

Got the call from BMWNA today and they said to bring it to my dealer aka where I work haha and let them know the process of it.

it's pretty common. I have the same problem and the only solution is to shift to M2 and not let it automatically go into M1. Not a solution but a work around
