The wait is excruciating I am sure
Thank you for the picture. How come my door handle are brushed alloy finish ie same than shifter where as the pciture you posted shows wood handle?
Rudy: would love to see that combo as I am considering it too.
Thanks

Door handle wood trims were not ready for the first ones, there was a note to this effect in the early brochure, all wood options now include the door pulls as well.

ok i'm biased, i'm going for the 545i, yes fuel consumption is higher but the performance is in a different league. If you want a measure look at the 0 to 100mph times, 530d 19.4 secs, 545i 13.8 secs. The 535d at best will reduce the 530d time by a couple of seconds but it's still way off the pace.
just my humble opinion

Wouldn't you lose money when you trade in your 545i?
If the majority of driving is done in city streets and in traffic, I don't think you would notice too much of a performance difference. And actually, this type of driving may favor the 535d.

Thx all for your ideas.
I think I might struggle to leave the V8 behind so I am kind of leaning towards that as of now...
Heezy: still talking to the dealers, economics of such a deal are never great btu hey U know what they say when you love you don't count...
