I realize this isn't the right area to post a 'fair price' question but there hasn't been any response where I did. Therefore, I am hoping by posting here I can get at least a few perspectives.

Here is the link to my original post:

Thanks!

Not even close to fair, imo. I just bought an '07 550i optioned similarly, minus the nav system and HUD, for $37,500. I never really researched 545s, but I can't see that being an almost 33k car.

I think you can probably get them down to somewhere around 29K. I bought mine 6 mths ago and paid about that with slightly higher mileage. The auto sales market has taken a significant hit since then so I'm sure they'll be "encouraged" to make you a deal.

You could get a 2006 550i, black/black or any traditional color combo with <40K miles, pretty much loaded (nav, cold, sport), for low $30s. Trust me, I've scoured the internet and the deals can be found. Contact member JDHART and he'll help you find something. Is it CPO? Even so, you only have 2 years of warranty left, and I doubt you can get to 100K miles by that time. Plus the car doesnt start breaking down until after 50K miles, usually.

I just picked up an '04 545i with 60k on it with similar options (no HUD) for under $20k in Chicago
