545i electrical bug?

Just had my 04 545i tested for free at Autozone to confirm battery was good and alternator voltage regulator was bad.
They connect under the hood and the computer tests the battery, alternator and starter in sequence.
Hope for your sake it is the battery. Wrenching the alternator out and in is not complicated but it is tedious (especially in a garage in AZ in August). I also did preventive maintenance by replacing the water pump (85K miles), thermostat and belts while I had it apart.
