545 gas mileage
I get 19+ typically with a mix of city & highway. It all depends on how aggressive your driving is. Run it in auto with a light throttle and you'll meet the published specs. Wind out the gears with a heavy foot in sport or manual and you will pay the price. Keep in mind that all the manufacturers these days program thier cars to acheive the best mileage possible when the samples get run through the MPG test cycles. The "your results may vary" clause is very true since hardly anybody will drive a car that way in the real world, especially a performance oriented one.

Good luck to you guys resetting code 20.It may take a few trys to get it right.
Its easy to screw up the procedure and have to start over.It was hard to explain
in a few words but hopefully was enough to get you pointed in the right direction.

I have been recording my gas mileage both manually and as indicated on the computer for about 15,000 miles. The following graph shows both my manual computation, and the computers computed gas mileage versus the average speed. The average speed and gas mileage are indicated by the trip computer, and I reset them every time I fill up.
This shows that the computer is about 4% optimistic. I'll try to reset the the calibration has outlined earlier in this thread, and I'll report back.
The variances in gas mileage are very easy to explain.?? I can get 12mpg or 23mpg.
It is thirsty V8,? so if you are idling around in low gears in city traffic you might get 12mpg.?? I drive 3 miles up hill through residential streets and? 7 stops or turns.? Thats 12mpg.? A weekend on the freeways will get me 19mpg.?? A long drive on the interstate in 6th gear has got me 400 miles on a tank and 22mpg.
Not at speeds averaging 90 with several spurts over 110 and one short one at 145.
I can't help myself. Sorry. If I lived in Germany I wouldn't consider an open road an opportunity and maybe cruise but living in LA I feel deprived and so does she.
when you get to the second set of codes push reset until you get to code 21 on the second set of codes, you will get a third set of codes, go to code 20,this should show you the code thats entered(shoud be 1000 from factory).you then push reset.
this should start the least significant digit scrolling, when you want to select a digit
hit reset.that digit will enter and the next significant digit will scroll.when you get all four digits set you have to hit reset and hold it for about 6 seconds.this will enter the new code.i know it is frustrating and usually takes many tries until you get the hang of it.

I've spoken with the agent here about this and they've asked me to monitor the situation. It surely has been constant, that much I can say. I have an appt with them but only when a loan car ia available. Unfortunately I'll have to pay plenty for my petrol till then.
