My Ride: M6 Silverstone II
![Default](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
I've had my 535d sport now for a week and wow
what a machine!!
My previous ride was an e46 M3 but after 12mths of trying to convince the wife that it
was a four seater family car she was still having none of it, so it had to go.
I then spent a few days test driving a 4.6is X5 but just couldn't really get on with the feeling of sitting on it rather than in it.
I then tried 7 series but i'm not ready for my pipe and slippers quite yet.
I thought i would miss the rawness of the M3 but the torque of the twin turbo diesel is amazing. The ride on the Goodyear run flats is better than the 19"s on the M3 and so here i am enjoying the 535 and the sport M pack also still gets the same looks from by standers that the M3 got.I must admit that i didn't really like the look of the e60 on release but the M pack changes the appearance dramatically. The Zymol man has been and done his stuff and her in doors is happy as well.

Good choice on car - got any pics?
Where did you get it Benhams, Rydale?
Had mine about 3 weeks now and love it to bits. Especially the sheer grunt. Leave the X5 to the farmers and school runners

I'll keep an eye out for you on road.

[/quote]When I originally ordered the car I paid extra for the optional 172 19" wheels (Not M5), however, I got a call from Benhams saying there was a delay so they offered me a deal whereby I took delivery of the car with the std 18" wheels and swap over later with my wheels off their new demonstrator when it arrives later in May.
