hi Guys,


I have change both my stats, with a constant rise in temp to approx. 95deg approx
2 months ago,,,, unfortunately that was short lived, as the temp is now reading between late 60`s & early 70`s......


My thoughts are to fit an inline stat on the top hose,,, an idea that is used a lot
on the MGZ forum (came across it by accident) the mod is approx. £70

spoken to the manufacture who informs me that he has sold quite a few to bmw
diesel owners, the thermostat inside is set to 88deg


so my question is, has anyone tried this mod on their BMW Diesel??

your thermostat's failed again, very likely if you didn't get it from the dealers in the first place. The pattern thermostats are known to fail
