520D LCI vs 525D LCI, a few questions.
Hi, Marius from Norway here.
This is my first post, so bare with me.
I'm struggeling to decide between 520D and 525D, both 2009/2010, LCI and auto. Both cars are still a bit expensive in this country.
I commute 100miles every day, so MPG is a bit important.
1. Should I be concerned about swirl flaps on the 520D?
2. Does the 525D LCI Auto have swirl flaps? (I've read a lot of different answers about the 525D)
3. What's the realistic mpg difference on these?
4. I've read about timing chain failure on both, is this correct?
5. Is it worth paying 10 000usd extra to get the 525D over the 520D?
The 520D I'm looking at costs about 26 000 USD and the 525D costs about 36 000USD.
(Crazy expensive here....)
