Grogran,

Congrats on your results. That 0-60 under 5.0 results are very admirable.

If I can impose upon you again would you be so kind as to list your brake torque again? Are you using the hand/parking brake?

Also I'm about to schedule a service appointment to correct the issues I've been experiencing since CIP update 22.01. Do you think I should wait until 23.0? to do some runs?

Thanks much,
T.

There is no reason to wait. There is no way to predict which your car will be faster under.

My GT2 timer just arrived in the mail. I bought it off ebay. Brand new in the package for $95 plus $10 shipping. Seemed like a great deal. There are still more for sale. Here is the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Escort-G-Ti...1QQcmdZViewItem

Any advice on setting it up? I searched and found these settings:

Rollout: 12"
Pitch: 1.9
Drivetrain loss: 0.20
Rolling Resistence: 0.13
Aero drag: 6.5

Are these the appropriate ones to use?

Thanks

Cool, and good price. I am in the middle of Thanksgiving company, and etc., etc., so I can't check out the setting for the GT2 right now. Maybe grogan545 will see this reply and will give you his. He's the man with the GT2. Your settings are decent I think, but I am not sure what he uses for RR and drag. His setting are posted either on this thread or on this one. It will take a while to find them, but if you keep looking, then you will be rewarded. Happy testing. We are looking forward to seeing your results.

That is the same GT2 I have. I incorrectly refer it as a G-Meter when I should really be calling it a G-Timer. I took it out of the box and launched away.

I took the time to read the manual once b/c I thought I needed to make adjustments to get a faster time. Apparently, the way it came applies to most cars including our e60s.

I did two quick tests yesterday. One was a complete 1/4 mile, the other was just a 0-60. Here are the results:

Run #1

1/4 mile: 13.78 sec @ 101.6 mph
0-60: 5.30 sec

Run #2

0-60: 5.23 sec
