has anyone been able to make one of the E60 cigarette lighters "unswitched" so it has power when the key is off?
I have a very short commute and my phone simply does not charge in the car. They do sell a female adapter that plugs into the flashlight charger in the glove box, but it was not clear if this is a "switched" power source as well.

Any thoughts on the electrical question appreciated. i will post on that "other" forum as well. many thanks!
