got my 05 525i last november and its already getting warrenty service, my whole gas tank is getting replaced. everytime i went to put in some gas the pump would click as if it was full when in fact i know that its empty. not sure what the problem was so i took it to my dealer and now they have to replace the whole tank itself. <_<

sorry to hear you have to get service this early.. hopfully dealer will fix the issue.

Usually.. dealer will not replace gas tank..
I had same situation with BMW 325IS I had back in 89 and dealer never replaced. They told me it's normal when we press nozzel too tight..
anyway. gas tank was replaced eventually when my car got stalled due to water got into gas tank.
