My Ride: Black 530i
I am very disappointed with the radio reception on my E60. My previous car which was a Ford Fairlane with a conventional aerial had a much better reception.

Oh boy, I had hoped this would be improved, as it sucks in my e46 M3 too. I guess the in-glass antennas just don't match up to aerials.

Same problem but it was not just a software fix - at least for 2004s. THey replaced my AM antenna with a shielded antenna - there is a service bulletin. Works fine now. Might not be true of newer cars as I think they likely come with the shielded antenna now.
I had also complained of occasional poor FM reception (figuring it was just a software fix) and they replaced the whole damn radio. I have good reception on both AM and FM now and RDS works too.
