damn awesome build. if my SAT ever goes im def going manual.

have a diy for how you activated the navi? i did my retrofit but still no navi since i dont want to use an emulator.

i think i remember seeing those wheels in the past on a white m5?

Nice build thread! I appreciate the documentation and your wrenching skills!

This is a lucky $3,000 car, it looks like it has already been showered with about $7,000 worth of maintenance and mods!

Haha, yes, it should be the 10K project by now. It's funny and crazy how expensive everything is and how much is worn out on a 110K mile car. So many parts that needed to be replaced.

No DIY really. Without emulator you need to patch with the intel patcher.

FSTool is a big pile of garbage software and mandatory to get it working. Once you get that setup rest is pretty easy.

Talk about being thorough. It looks like you really spent some time getting it healthy again. How are the shifts when it's in boost now that it's a manual? It looks like you might not have gotten to really drive it when it was an automatic though, for a base comparison.

This is my second 535i, my old one was automatic so i've driven an auto for a long time. Shifts are nice, no complains with the transmission its solid. Little jerky at low throttle but not too bad.
