Agent99,
Please report on boot up time and general I-drive responsiveness. I realize you do not have anything to compare it to, but our older CIP Version cars take an age to boot up with varied times and often the I-drive is sticky. Scroll, wait... then see it respond. You would be the best person to provide this feedback for us US build drivers. I also know you cannot run to the garage and time this, you are currently in "the wait from Hell' the price of ED, 6-7 weeks to be reunited with your car. Thanks in advance for your response.

The boot up is still slow. Took at least 10 secs to get the accept screen to come on. The response times afterwards didn't seem slow. There's a lag but it wasn't annoying at all.

I'm not sure but I'll bet the new "i" software button toggles the overlay of the POI icons. In other words, if you select restaurants from the "information on current location" area, you'll see a blue knife and fork icon on the map for every restaurant. The "i" button probably turns these on and off for better map visibility...

Hmmm, I don't recall waiting all that much but perhaps I wasn't really paying attention to the boot-up??

Otherwise, I agree with Arn...any lag wasn't a big deal although there were a few times where things sat there for a few seconds during a scroll or a direction pull on the joystick. Overall, the I-Drive was a pleasure to use.

How is TMC performance with this update? Does it lock and stay locked?

Hi

It does come on fairly quickly - much faster thn before anyway. I'd say 4 or 5 seconds and the display is ready.

The icons on the left are always there no matter what mode you select.

I have also noticed that TMC is locking much better than before but this could be because of other things working better rather than the nav!

The Air Con logo's on the bottom left have gone too.

Thanks
Fraser
