This may be a stupid question but I am little confused. You put the car in aux position, put your foot on the gas and the break for 25 seconds, do you take your foot off the gas before you start it or do you start it with your foot on the gas?

Thanks for the response but it doesn't answer my question. After the 25 sec do you let up the gas and then start or do you keep your foot on the gas and start?

I may stand corrected, but I believe the only time it would make sense to start with the pedal to the floor would be to correct a flooded condition. I believe the intent behind the technique is to send a set of instructions to the computer to work its magic. I'm sure somebody more knowledgeable will chime in...

It is my understanding that you let off after 25 or 30 and then start. Enjoy!

yes, let go of the gas after 25-30 sec's. some guys held down the gas for 1 full min. Don't keep your foot on the gas when you start.

The forum thread above has all the details if you read through.
