Any know issuse around 70k
I have a 2005 545i with around 70k that I just bought a couple months ago. I really don't know much about fixing cars. I am a IT guy by profession. I know computers inside and out.. lol but I know a fine automobile when I see one. Is there anything that I should do/look out for with this particular car anytime soon. What I mean, is that I used to have a 1998 740 with 70k and when I took it to the dealer, as soon I told him miles and model he knew my power steering didn't work, my instrument cluster has missing pixels etc... that is how common the issues where based on model and miles. So before I run into any major issues, what minor things should I address with m particular car?

1. Change out your spark plugs if you intend to keep this for the next 50K miles
2. Would ensure your service is up to date with oil changes, air filter changes etc
3. Recc you service your power steering gluid [flush n change] at least once.
4. Recc you change your brake fluid at least once...
3 and 4 are optional but 1 and 2 I would make sure of... The rest is up to the iDrive system....
