Engine: N52k
If your battery is 7 years old (congratulations) its time for a new battery anyway. See if that fixes it.
I'm inclined to think the jerking issue is fuel related (e.g. fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, etc)
Do you also have the original fuel filter on the car?
