Did you get some that night? if not i would of been crying... not getting any after a date and scratching your rims... deadly combination
When you drive a spanking new 550 you automatically get some. Its written in the BMW owners manual under the section entitled benefits of purchasing your new E60. If not, they point you to the toolbox in the trunk where there is the manual tool to uncrank your moonroof.

Bummer but not the end of the world. Talk to your service advisor at the dealer. They have connections to folks that will fix them good as new. It runs about $60/wheel. Do not let this drag you down.

I am assuming this girl had you all sorts of distracted for you to smash up your wheels. Other than the accident I hope you both had a great time together in your new ride!

We did have a great time!!!! ...and she is smoking hotttt!!!! I wonder if it's a coincidence that I have the hottest girl I ever met now that I have a bimmer ..Although I did meet her when I was in a crashed 1998 toyota camry....Oh well, only time will tell.

Unfortunately I did not get any that night. That would have surely helped me feel better. I had to go to work and it was already 630 am!!!! I am not rushing it though because I am going to enjoy this one when it finally happens!!!

Thanks, now im feeling better about my right front 166 wheel that I curbed last month. I had it fixed the next week. It looks fine but the finish is rougher than my pristine 166's. Still wish I hadn't done it.

I am getting my rims fixed as I am typing up this reply. I surely do hope they come out as good as new, if not I am tempted to buy some new ones because I just love the 172's on my 550.

I spoke with a BMW dealership. As Midnightrider said, the BMW guys said it should only cost $60-$70 to get curb rash fixed. They also mentioned they can do it with the tire still on the car. Is this true?
