2007 530xi rough idle issue
Hello,
I have a 2007 530 xi with ~104,000 miles. I started having a few minor idle hesitations/fluctuations on start-up when shifting into reverse to back out of my drive way at about 96K miles. It was very minor so I ignored it up to now.
I recently changed the plugs (new Iridiums at 100K miles) and have just completed a trip of ~3200 miles. I now have the Service Engine Light on and a rough idle situation on start up and when stopping at traffic lights. Similar to before when in reverse, but now more prominent and of course the service light. I don't have any other symptoms like missing or hesitation while driving.
Today I had the oil changed and I also checked all the coils for problems by removing each electrical connector while idling to verify there is a change in idle speed. All checked out okay. I've checked on youtube and found a few suggestions such as trying some injector and or engine cleaner (Seafoam) but could use some advice if you've experienced such a condition.
Thanks in advance for any help on this one.

You need to read the codes stored in the car computers. If you don't have anything yet, get BMWhat App for Android or iPhone. The Android one seems to do more.

Thanks. I didn't realize you could do such a thing with a smart phone on a 2007 vehicle. I presume you need an electrical cable to connect the car to the phone before you can use the Application?
