Exclamation 2006 530XI Check Oil Level- NO iDrive - No Wheel on signal stalk

Going crazy here and spent days now on google and different forums looking for an answer. So far all say to move the wheel on the signal stalk but mine is different, there's no wheel and I have 2 buttons...one says BC and the other says CHECK.
The iDrive unit is not functional so I can't check that way. Any help would be appreciated and I apologize if there is already a thread on this but I haven't been able to find it.

3 series has the wheel. If your iDrive is out and there's no dipstick, the only way to know your oil level is to change it and refill with the specified amount.

Thanks audiophool you're right I called BMW service and they said the only way is via iDrive...pretty dumb in my opinion

There is oil indicator beside speedometer, if light on, than you will need to top up 1liter. i never do with inpa/ista before, later I will check.
