While driving into work today (in the snow), all the functions on the turn signal stalk stopped working. No turn signals, no brights, no ability to change the center dash display. There are no error messages or other alerts displayed. I tried shutting down, locking, unlocking and restarting the car after I got to work but that didn't restore the functionality. Has anyone seen this before? I'm hoping that when I leave work in 8 hours the car will have gotten over its stubbornness and start working normally. Meanwhile, I have a service appt. scheduled.

Could this be caused by a blown fuse?

No, but they do use the headlight flasher quite a bit.

Sounds like the connector from the stalk wiring to the vehicle wiring harness became disconnected.

Well, after 8 hours of rest everything works again. Very strange. I hope it doesn't happen again.
