Does anyone have a new car where they have a 2006-2 Europe DVD and have the UK postcodes function working?

The 2006-02 DVD is missing file(s) that support the UK Post Code functions, hence the function is not available with the -02 DVD, the 2006-01 DVD is fine. BMW are aware of the problem with the -02 DVD but I've not heard anything since a couple of weeks back. I've obtained a -01 DVD and this works fine (it still annoys that its only 5 chrs though, not 7 as it should be.) Go chase your dealer and give them hell, the more complaints the better, maybe then BMW UK will attach some priority to this annoying problem......

I know there was a problem with the 2006-2 versions but I hoped the BMW fixed this. Don't tell me they expect people to pay for an upgraded or downgraded DVD to fix a known issue. I'm surprised that this doesn't get a recall order.

They may well have come up with a plan by now, the input I had was that they would explore all solutions available!
