15% Ethanol Gas in the US

Yet another example of politics over science hurting consumers and voters. Luckily at this point going to 15% ethanol would require a massive amount of infrastructure investment given that both 10 and 15% would have to remain available (until Archer Daniels Midland buys off a few more politicians to lie to their constituents), and can't be blended at the pump. What a joke.

E85 is the sh*t!! It's like cheap race fuel! They compare it to vp109 for a fraction of the cost...Some guys are converting their 997 turbos over to e85...It just requires a new tune and different fuel injectors...

E85 is like race flue because it has very high octane rating and thus in turbo cars you can turn boost way up and not detonate. In an NA car there is no advantage at all-worse milage and worse performance. Only if you tune to take advantage of it will you benefit
