15% Ethanol Gas in the US

Yea ethanol kills the fuel system if it's not made to handle it. 10 should be the absolute MAX.

Unfortunately, 15% ethanol in gas is almost inevitable here in the US.

Get ready to have nasty repairs when/if that happens. Ethanol is stupid to use in gasoline. I wonder if BMW will blame 15% ethanol on HPFP failures when/if the time comes.

even if bmw blames ethanol, they can't blame individual drivers in the US since it's basically impossible to get away from it. but where is the proof that it is bad?

great...so will running seafoam or some other fuel additive help with build up?
