If you are driving "easy" like you say in the city, you should be getting at least the 15 MPG stated by BMW.

You may want to check your tire pressures. I overinflate by 1-2 psi and my 550 easily gets 17-18 MPG city.

Then again, you may live in hilly regions or have bad quality gasoline. There are many factors that could influence your numbers.

Cool, doing some major, and some preventative maintenance right now. Just swapped out my mechatronic unit this evening. That wasn't too bad. Though a little tight for working space. Lets see what happens when she is back alive.

Driving on my stock 18's, I would get about 19mpg. Added the 20's, dropped down to 17mpg. Added the exhaust and k&n filter, now about 16.5 mpg. That's all city driving.

It's depend what city New York city I see that, so I guess I meant it's going to be in any downtown with 20/40 mph max speed.
I driving hwy but stop and go traffic and a little downtown driving and it gets around 17.5 to 19 (it depends on weather condition and fuel)

The worst I have seen is 16 in city driving with heavy traffic and speeds up to 30 mph. My regular driving returns 19-20 at 40 miles a day.

Depending on my level of enthusiasm I usually see 12-15 in the city and ~20 combined.

No. Mixed driving I get 21 mpg. In the city I usually get 17 mpg.

13 is way too low to be honest...if your running a stock set-up.

my old Dinan 545i gave me better than 13 mph and it was fully tricked out including hi-flow throttle bodies from Dinan. hopefully you get to the bottom of it.

Using the button to cycle through miles remaining, average speed and MPG, just hold that button in for a few seconds while you're on MPG and it will zero out.

As for mileage, I average 14.5 for city driving.
