My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.

Thanks for the advice. BMW was able to read into the computer deeper even though my Indy shop and pep boys were not able to. They found that the low pressure fuel pump went bad. They quoted me $1,900.00, I said no thank you. They charged me $210 for the diagnostics. I got the part from RM European for $260 and my Indy shop will install for $100 bucks!

I just replaced the high pressure fuel pump. Do you mean that there are 2 low pressure pumps in the gas tank?

Hey you were right. I'm having the same exact problem after replacing the fuel pump in the gas tank. What other pump are you talking about? All the diagrams say there's only one pump in my car. Even my parts guy says he can't locate another pump. There's def an issue. The mechanics saying one of the tanks is staying lower than the other.
