My windsheild is creaking/ rattling. I thought it was the A pillars and so I removed them and it did not fix it. Only happens when I go over bumps and it's more small bumps that just moves it a little. This issue is really pissing me off because its very quiet in the interior and then it creaks whenever I go over bumps. It sounds like creaking plastic basically. Me and my friend pushed up on the top of the windshield while driving and going over bumps and it basically stopped making the noise. We pushed up hard on the windshield close to the headliner near the rear view mirror. Any ideas what the issue is and how to fix it? I will literally sell the car if I can't fix this, it's very annoying.

My e60 windshield creeks only in cold weather. When I turn uphill into the driveway it creeks when the frame is twisting (because I'm turning right up hill and the driveway is leaning left).

I suspected the issue was the windshield gasket was old, not soft, not flexible anymore and not supple (and could stand to be replaced).

The freaky thing is when I hear the windshield creak as I turn into the driveway it sounds like the windshield is going to crack!

Yup, cold weather brings out the interior creaks and rattles. Do you have a sunroof? It could be the metal bar contacting the front bottom side of the sunroof glass.
