Default 07 E60 N52 Frustrated with code 2E7C Short Crank No Start

Hey Guys , I was wondering if some of you have experienced a similar problem as mine?

I have the Code 2E7C BSD Data Bus Communication Fault only code,

So Far, I have replaced the Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Replaced DME which i cloned with ktag with same dme model and all numbers matching, replaced the BST cable, IBS cable seems to be working as i am able to test it with the FOXWELL NT510 with the bmw , tested the Water pump with the foxwell, i am able to connect , and test all the water pump functions, also i am able to connect to the fuel pump and all its functions. I did reset the CAS , oil level seems to be working as the car checks the oil fine in the dashboard computer, replaced the DME Relays Green and Blue Ones, checked the fuses there as well

Seems the DME is not getting power , when I tried to talk to the DME through the foxwell i get the message Break in the DME voltage supply.

I bought the car non working like this.

I did noticed in the driver's trunk there were few cables kind of burnt and a green bus cable that goes to a little hub and to the satellite radio system, I cleaned and resoldered everything.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

Did you try unplugging the IBS sensor sitting on the negative post to see if you can get it started. You replaced a lot fishing for the issue. You're going to bad to back probe the alternator plug and start unplugging modules to see which one is hanging your system up

It would be nice to have a chat with the previous owners mechanic (who told the previous owner to sell this car).

That mechanic did some diagnostic work and identified something and communicated that to previous owner.

The previous owner and his mechanic know something worth sharing.

Yea, I unplugged the IBS sensor, no change.

I bought it cheap, has only 100k miles, it was from a young couple that probably didn't have lots of money to pay for a mechanic to fish in, everything seems new when it cranks it feels and sounds like it is about to start.

I'll try to go module by module, but it seems that all the modules with the dme are responding to the tests sucesfully with the foxwell, I am kind of clueless.

I am starting to think maybe the files in the DME are corrupt and i passed to the other one, but both dme's are reading and writing with the ktag

Get an indy BMW mechanic to diagnose it and then figure out if you want to fix it yourself or not.
