Just looking for some help with a 06 550. Car was dead when I got it. Ran ista and have a multitude of codes, ista didn’t have service function dme codes, so no help. I can jump the starter wire in com box and car will run, but has misfires. Also trans will go into gear but ista has red box for egs in control tree. I tried disconnecting the ibs, that didn’t work. As far as I can figure the dme is poo. But I’d like to know if anyone has some diagnostic ideas I should follow first before going down the dme rabbit hole. Thank!!

Check your battery voltage. Fully charge it and then recheck. You may have to disconnect the IBS.

Done both already. Registered battery too. Disconnected ibc after charging the battery, still no start
