New Radiator, Minor Damage?
I just received a new Behr radiator from an eBay seller and would like to know your opinion if I should pitch a fit about the damage (see photos below) or let it slide.

I sucks but looking at the first pic the condenser is no good the other damage is ok. Don't waist your time installing it. The horizontal lines is where the Freon run and if bent you may have a leak. I'm sure it's not the sellers fault and the shipping company just threw boxes on it. Send it back. You don't want to do the job twice. Check to see if someone sells the Behr local just buy it and replace it with the the one that was sent to you. It'll save you time

Dang it! OK I just sent the seller a scathing message. The picture in the ad isn't even the same radiator. He conveniently did not show the back of the box where the damage was either.

Frick the seller is saying I can fix the warped port and the fin damage should have no affect. He's probably right if the radiator isn't leaking. Ugh I didn't buy a NEW radiator for a science project.

On another note... Why are the ports open. Did you plug the plugs or it didn't come without them. When you receive a new radiator you want it sealed.

Deep Thoughts by donpb: I've seen different configured radiators listed for my car and its confusing. My confusion has to do with the mystery port circled in red (see below). On some radiators, that port is there but on others, its the drain port and has a spigot or drain plug and on some there's no port there at all. What in the fark is up with that?

I'm assuming the ones without (if it's a drain plug) are cheaper. Does yours have it if so get it with the plug. Otherwise you'll have to drain from the lower hose

The one originally that came with your car is below. You would have to source a plug since you don't have one to get the one with the drain port to work unless it comes with it. PN: 17-11-7-519-209
Hell forget that. Send it back. You didn't pay for a radiator to fix it. If it does have a leak then what. I would send it back. If he didn't put it on the post selling it send it back. Those ports are thin.
